From the creator of the iconic TV show, "Gilligan’s Island: The Musical"  is written by the father/son team of Sherwood Schwartz and Lloyd Schwartz and its 19-song score is composed by the husband/wife team of Hope Juber and two-time Grammy winner Laurence Juber.

The musical begins with the familiar theme song (voted the #1 TV theme of all time) and follows the hilarious misadventures of the beloved castaways:  The courageous Skipper and his hapless first mate Gilligan, the fabulously wealthy Mr. and Mrs. Howell, the Marilyn-esque movie star, the brilliant Professor and the country-girl Mary Ann.

"Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale........" as these seven characters are shipwrecked and learn to work together in their attempts to get off the island. But their efforts are always foiled by the well-meaning, but inept, first mate Gilligan. They survive a hurricane, escape quicksand and decipher the hidden legend of the island. But their biggest challenge is a mysterious U.F.O. and its Alien visitor.

Will they manage to defeat the extraterrestrial?.......Will they save the entire planet?......
Will they finally get off the island?......

"Gilligan" first workshopped in Los Angeles in 1989 and the show debuted in Flat Rock, North Carolina in '92. From there it went  to Chicago, San Diego, and Thousand Oaks. Every production was successful with good reviews and lots of TV and press coverage..."The Today Show," "CBS Morning News," CNN, etc. The show has enjoyed a period of licensed productions in such locations as Lincoln, Birmingham, Cincinnati and San Jose. There was an independently produced national tour in 2009 which played to sold-out houses.

"Gilligan's Island: The Musical" has everything, comedy, heart, love, drama, nostalgia and sing-able songs. It appeals to young and old alike, is perfect for families and already holds a special place in the heart of America.

It requires an 8-person cast and can be performed with available backing tracks or a band. It is flexible and adaptable for medium to large stages, and is a perfect resort show. It is available in two formats: one-act 90 minutes and two-act 2 hours with intermission.
